Chance-Therrien-Impact-2017

Synergy FC standout signs with Montreal Impact

Synergy FC 2004 standout Chance Therrien (Charlotte, VT) has signed with the Montreal Impact USSDA (United States Soccer Development Academy) U14 Team.
Chance moved to Montreal full-time over the summer and is set to start for the Impact in the season opener this weekend (Sept 2-3, 2017).
Chance started at Synergy FC when he was 8 years old and worked extremely hard to become a highly technical player and then dominant in his age group during that time.
Chance was invited into numerous US Soccer Training Center events by the US Soccer Federation in 2016-2017 and was recognized as a top 2004 player in consideration for US National Team activity.
“Chance has ambitious goals in football, US National Team selection and a career as a professional player at the highest level, this is where Chance is going and he has the attitude and work rate to get there,” commented SFC Director Hugh Brown.
“When Chance first came to Synergy we gave him jersey number #4 because another Charlotte, VT Synergy FC player named Antonio Pugliese was #4 and we noticed a lot of similarities between them as players – both of these guys are now at the highest levels in their respective age groups – Antonio with FC Barcelona USSDA 2000 (Arizona) and Chance with the Montreal Impact USSDA 2004″.
No shortcuts taken – Chance and Antonio have put in thousands of hours to get there!
The SFC Way is producing Top Players and helping them realize their Dreams.
We stand for Excellence, Courage, Passion, Wisdom and Honor.

Synergy Football Club player Jackson Malik Akin (2006) has been selected to train with FC Bayern Munich (Germany) in November 2017.

“The FC Bayern Munich Coaches were very impressed with Malik’s technical ability, competitive spirit, 1 v 1 ability and quickness, they are excited to see him in their environment alongside the other FC Bayern players this fall in Germany,” commented SFC Director Hugh Brown.

The playing standards at FC Bayern are among the highest in the world, many of the starting players on the German National Team came up thru the youth academy at FC Bayern Munich.

Synergy FC Players Aki Yuasa (2002) and Malik Akin (2006) just wrapped up the 2017 FC Bayern Residential ID Camp.
The coaching staff from FC Bayern Munich (Munich, Germany) conducted the sessions over a 4 day period at the University of New England campus in Maine.
Players from across the United States, Canada and even Puerto Rico were selected to attend after months of Regional ID sessions were held to find the best player candidates.
Several players will be selected to fly to Munich and train at FC Bayern.
Aki was selected and trained in Munich in 2016 and the Bayern Munich coaches have been tracking her all year.
Malik attended his first ever FC Bayern ID Camp and is only a U11 age player so he is on the German superclub’s radar early!
Aki won the camp juggling contest with over 1,200 touches in a row, unbelievable.
Aki’s ultimate goal is to sign a professional contract by her 18th birthday, possibly with Bayern Munich.
Well done Malik and Aki, these two players are awesome – keep pushing, stay humble and dream really big!
