The 2017 Vermont Soccer League (VSL) expanded match playing weekends into March and April for the first time in the history of the league.

The Synergy Football Club makes history by winning the first Vermont Soccer League match ever played in March.
On Saturday, March 18 the Synergy FC U19 Academy Team defeated the Capital SC U19 Team 2-0 followed by a 6-0 win by the Synergy FC U13 Academy Team over the Capital SC U13″s on Saturday night.
On Sunday the Synergy FC U19 Academy Team (comprised of a mixture of U15 thru U19 age players) beat the Capital U17/18 Team 9-0 on Virtue Field at the University of Vermont.
The 2017 Vermont Soccer League (VSL) expanded match playing weekends into March and April for the first time in the history of the league.
“Positive step forward for the VSL to expand into March and April. Glad we were able to play these inaugural matches with Capital SC. Our teams have been looking forward to playing competitive matches again and this was a great start,” commented SFC Director Hugh Brown.
