The Synergy Football Club Welcomes All Players to attend the 2017 ID (Tryout) Sessions

Here are two (2) simple ways to gauge the success of a Premier Youth Soccer Club:

(1)What is the Technical Ability and Playing Style of the youngest team at the club (U10/11/12) and (2) Where are the oldest/graduating players going?

  • The youngest Teams at Synergy (U10 and U12) play a beautiful, technical style of football and consistently dominate the Vermont Soccer League and earn respect on a regional level for their style of play.
  • The oldest players at the club, the 2017 graduating seniors, have a 100% placement at the collegiate level – and so has every other graduating class in the history of the SFC 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012 and 2011.

Players come to Synergy from all across Vermont and even upstate New York – Families that want the best football and life experiences seek us out – there is no other club in Vermont, Region I and possibly the United States that produces footballers and teams like Synergy FC.

If you are interested in the best training, the best style of football and the most genuine club culture where Excellence is encouraged everyday then the Synergy Football Club is for you!

What sets the Synergy Football Club apart?

Intensity

  • Players/Families come to Synergy because they are ready to train and play at a higher level – they do not come to waste time and goof around.

Training to Game Ratio

  • The Synergy FC Players excel because they train in a purposeful way – the ratio of training to games is 4-1 throughout the year. Players develop when they train – training twice per week Is not going to take you closer to your playing dreams/goals.

Cost

  • The tuition for Synergy FC Players is an incredible value, in fact, the cost per hour of training throughout the year is @ $6/hour – other clubs in the Vermont Soccer market charge @ $16/Hour or almost three (3) times what Synergy FC Players pay!

Coaching

  • Hugh Brown, the Founder and Director of the SFC conducts the training sessions for every team at the club from U10 thru U19. This means that every player receives equal amounts of high level professional instruction. Many clubs put the least experienced novice coaches with the youngest teams/players – not at the SFC – Learn the Game Well from the Start!

Culture

  • Values and Goals drive the culture at the SFC. Striving for Excellence On and Away from the field and cultivating genuine relationships with teammates, club mates and coaches

Success

The SFC Players and Teams have set the bar for soccer development and achievement in Vermont

  • The first club in VT to compete in the Region I Premier League

Overview of Synergy FC Academy Teams for 2017-2018 playing year:

 Synergy FC U10 Academy

(Trainer/Coach – Hugh Brown, SFC Founder/Director – USSF ‘A’ License)

U10 Overview:

The Synergy FC U10 Academy Team is comprised of 7, 8 & 9 year olds. Some of the most accomplished players in the history of the club started as 7 year olds at the SFC. To learn football very well from the beginning and never forming poor technical and/or training habits is probably the reason why.

The SFC U10 Players routinely train with the SFC 11, 12 and 13 year olds which boosts the learning curve significantly. When the new U10 players see the more experienced players playing 1 and 2 touch football, turning tight, shooting, running … it really helps them learn quicker.

U10 Training and Games:

The SFC U10 Academy Players train a minimum of three times per week and usually play up an age group in the Vermont Soccer League Division I. The SFC U10 Academy will also compete in a couple of regional level/out of state events throughout the year in order to expose the players to higher level teams and players.

Synergy FC U12 Academy

(Trainer/Coach – Hugh Brown, SFC Founder/Director – USSF ‘A’ License)

U12 Overview:

SFC U12 Academy is usually a mixture of 10 and 11 year olds, but is also open to younger players that exhibit the appropriate ability level.

The 2016-2017 U12 Academy Team was comprised of only three “true age group” players along with three U11 age players and seven U10 age players. The team won every match played (7-0) in the U12 Vermont Soccer League and compiled a 20-0 record from September 2016 thru June 2017.

The 2016/2017 U12 Academy Team was small physically, but because of the Synergy FC training program and player development system this team produced some incredible/dominating football throughout the year.

U12 Training and Games:

The SFC U12 Academy Team trains three to four times per week starting in late August and ending in Early July. SFC Teams are off for the winter break from Late December thru Late January.

The U12’s will either play in the Vermont Soccer League or the New England Premiership in 2017-2018 and they will also compete in a couple of regional level/out of state events throughout the year.

Synergy FC U14 Academy

(Trainer/Coach – Hugh Brown, SFC Founder/Director – USSF ‘A’ License)

U14 Overview:

The SFC U13/14 Academy is comprised of 2004 & 2005 Birth Year players, but younger birth year players may be selected based on ability level.

There are many players on the team with highly ambitious football goals and they need to gain exposure to the highest levels of the game possible during their youth careers – we do that regularly at the SFC!

Two of the 2004 players were signed as designated players (DP’s) in the United States Development Academy League and three players were selected to the FC Bayern Munich Residential ID Program in 2016.

U14 Training and Games:

The 2016-2017 Team trained three to four times per week and played in the highly competitive New England Premiership (regional league). The team finished in 1st place in the league during fall 2016 and was promoted to the top flight where they finished 4th in spring 2017 play.

The SFC U13/14 Academy Team will compete in a few regional level events/tournaments throughout the year in addition to league play.

Synergy FC U15/16/17 Academy

(Trainer/Coach – Hugh Brown, SFC Founder/Director – USSF ‘A’ License)

Overview:

The SFC U16/17 Academy Team is comprised of players born in 2001, 2002 & 2003.

Playing in top events exposes the SFC players to high level teams they enable college and professional scouts to identify our top prospects.

Several players on the 2016-2017 SFC Team were selected to the Region I ODP Teams and played internationally throughout the year and three players were selected to the GPS FC Bayern Munich National Teams playing in Ireland and Spain!

Seven of the U15 (2002) and U16 (2001) players were rostered and played in U19 National Premier League matches and other U19 games in 2016-2017 – incredible playing experiences for these players!

Training and Games:

The 2016-2017 Team trained three to four times per week and played in the New England Premiership (regional league). The team finished in 3rd place in the New England Premiership in spring 2017.

The team will play in several national and regional level tournaments throughout the year – Last Year: Bethesda Premier Cup (Maryland, Nov 2016), Massapequa Showcase (NY, Dec 2016), Potomac Memorial Day Event (May, 2017), Mid-Atlantic Cup (PA, June 2017).

(Trainer/Coach – Hugh Brown, SFC Founder/Director – USSF ‘A’ License)

The SFC U18/19 Academy Team is comprised of players born in 2000 and 1999. The team will also bring up younger players from the 2001 and 2002 age groups for match play when appropriate.

The objective is to develop these players to reach their maximum potential while also marketing them and showcasing them to top level collegiate and professional teams so each player can continue their football careers after Synergy.

The 2016-2017 SFC U19 Academy Team played in the National Premier League (NPL) – this was a first for any team in Vermont history.
