Synergy Players construct SFC "touch boards"
Synergy FC players Calder Birdsey (U14) and Francis "Mac" Smith (U10 Academy) put the finishing details on a Synergy FC "Touch Board".
"Ball Mastery and developing a refined touch for the ball is the first step in the process of technical development. Our players and teams only have three team training sessions per week … spending time with the ball every day is essential for technical gains to occur," commented Synergy FC Director Hugh Brown.
"Building and using a "touch board" is a great way to sharpen a your touch and increase the technical ability and confidence of the player," Brown continued, "Both Calder and Francis have developed a great first touch and are examples of how individual commitment and spending time with the ball everyday can make a big difference."
Keep up the great work Calder and Francis – you are an inspiration to everyone at the club.
